@luke It was weird enough pulling such a small stitch out, I probably would've gotten a little weak in the knees if it had been 3"! @genderkid Nothing compares to the horrors of that fistula! I still have residual trauma over it.Transition photos are really cool. I marvel at my own whenever I put a new set. The pre-T and early T photos don't look like "me" anymore, and in the new photos I look so much more familiar to myself. Very interesting.@joaquinjack You're right, it could be tomorrow, or it could take a little longer. The path to T will hopefully be a rewarding experience of self-discovery for you. I think this is one of the things that we really benefit from by going through transition: we get a real opportunity to look deep in the mirror, and that's something that a lot of people never really do.@Elle Thank you for your kind words! I am proud. And I don't feel like the ugly duckling any more. Your comment about the gender line made me think of the magnificent Kate:Once upon a time, someone drew a line in the sands of culture and proclaimed with great self-importance, 'On this side, you are a man; on the other side, you are a woman.' It's time for the winds of change to blow that line away. Simple.-- Kate Bornstein, Gender OutlawRead more comments by Joshua Riverdale
